Oshawa is an excellent city located east of Toronto and west of Kingston that contains a great deal of amenities and accessibility, as well as a great location for getting to the other nearby cities/towns. The Oshawa detached homes for sale provide the ultimate comfort, as they are not only on their own land, but the very phrase "detached home" encompasses a wide variety of homes, such as cottages, backsplits, mobile homes, sidesplits, single-story homes, multi-story homes, and many others; in the case of larger homes, many detached homes also have single or multi-vehicle garages attached to their structures as well. Oshawa's detached homes are peppered all across the city boundaries, but fear not! Regardless of where the detached homes are, you will be near to all of the amenities. How, you may ask? It is thanks to the major roadways of the city that you'll be able to get virtually anywhere in the city in relatively short time (and relatively quick access to the aforementioned amenities). Besides the major roadways of the city, you will also have access to the Highway 401, which runs through the southern part of the city but allows for prime access beyond the city to other places like Toronto.
When it comes to experiencing the amenities of the city of Oshawa from any of the Oshawa detached homes for sale, you will be able to have access to all of what Oshawa has if you utilize the major roadways; King Street and Bond Street run parallel to each other going east and west through the middle of the city like their own highway, while Adelaide Avenue, Bloor Street, Rossland Road, and Taunton Road all above or below King and Bond running with them. Going north and south, you have Stevenson Road, Harmony Road, Park Road, Simcoe Street, and Centre Street acting as the major roadways. Between all of these roads, the whole city of Oshawa is pretty much open to you. If you are a golf enthusiast, these roadways can give you access to plenty of golf courses, with some of the best examples of them including the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club, Kedron Dells Golf Club, Winchester Golf Club, Lyndebrook Golf Course, and Harmony Creek Golf Centre, as well as Pebblestone Golf Course. So many options for the noble sport of golf, so little time. Between the golf and the major roadways, the possibilities are virtually endless for anyone living in the city of Oshawa.
Oshawa's amenities are all available to you no matter which of the Oshawa detached homes for sale you choose, but it's WHAT amenities are available that is obviously of interest to you. At the intersection of King Street and Stevenson Road, you have the Oshawa Centre (which is a decent-sized shopping mall), and between what is inside the mall and what is around it, you have access to such amenities as grocery stores, coffee shops, pharmacies, gas stations, banks, several restaurants/fast food places, along with a post office a short distance from the mall, and several stores and boutiques. Beyond these amenities, you also have access to the amenities that the other nearby cities can provide in the capacity of a daytrip; heading into Toronto for the day and doing a bunch of shopping, then coming back to Oshawa to relax and enjoy yourself would most definitely seem like an enjoyable idea, wouldn't it? It works best for those who do not want to LIVE in Toronto's incredible congestion and busy traffic, but still want to be close enough to the capital of Ontario that they can take a drive in and check out the places they wish to go to.
